It's like the people who are put in charge of iconic characters like Barbie now just what to take the iconic corpses of popular IP characters, and just turn them inside out or twist them into becoming extensions of themselves, and their modern day political values. They don't really give a fuck about the actual franchise or their history of that character. They just want iconic hand puppets they can manipulate into saying what they want them to say. Kinda like what they did to She-Ra and Thundercats. Yes, that's Panthro's skull next to 2011 Lion-O and 80's Snarf. They even hired the old voice actor to say that the CalArts remake version of the show was just as good as the original in an immature, and childish way of rubbing in the fact that they are in total control of your beloved old IPs now.
