It was a pretty neat development. The 200X "All Snake Men do is betray and eat people! So mature!" take was dull tryhard shit by comparison.

Yeah. The minicomics even treated Skeletor as a founding member, participating in all their appearances except "Revenge of the Snake Men".

Man, I love the scenario where Skeletor and King Hiss are roommates who intend to betray each other after He-Man is defeated. It's so much more fun than the 10 or so 200X episodes with King Hiss.
