Doing some first-time drybrushing, using Model Master (Testors) enamel on top of a matt coat. Even though I'm using the same brand of paint, I'm getting some weird inconsistency between the colors. The Steel I'm able to drybrush on just fine. The Neutral Gray, on the other hand, is much more troublesome. It feels a just slightly thicker, but when I get it on the brush and dab onto the paper towel, it seems to dry out incredibly fast, thereby making it much harder to then get the paint from the brush onto the model. I'm able to manage getting some paint on by pressing hard enough on the edges, but it definitely feels wrong compared to how easy the Steel was work with.
Is there something I can do with the Netural Gray enamel so that it doesn't completely dry out so fast when drybrushing?
