I made this one when I was 13 during a Yaiba rerun on TV and it's actually the second version. Some years back, when I watched the show for the first time, I made one using the same cheap ninja sword as a base but the guard on that one was made of paper instead of wood like this one. There was no hole either (just a black painted circle), and you could attach and detach some paper circles I painted with the colors of each orb with velcro.
The guard and pommel on this second version can be removed and exchanged by ones I made with the shape of the Ryujin sword, only problem is that the blade didn't change so it wasn't 100% accurate to the actual design. Nonetheless it looked pretty decent, but I have no pics of that one.
