>>9440690A toy is anything that was created to be a toy. My mildly autistic view of toys is that a certain degree of craftsmanship has gone into making them, even if the end result is mass-produced. It's no different to any other ornamental collection, and 'it's neat' is a perfectly fine reason to appreciate something.
There are of course people who take it way too far, fill their houses with so many that they don't even know what they have, or have sacrificed a significant quality of life to fund their collections. It's common in every collector hobby and has been pretty well-documented in the general public, so of course you get the uppity cunts who base their opinions off of daytime tv specials.
