The white bun parts fold down over Thunderlight's face and her chest flips up to meet them to form the combined form's torso. When combining with the Tank, Thunderlight's head and boobs are removed and not used. It's in the Bilibili video.
(This is probably the best image of the base combined mode that's ever leaked from BFB. They probably don't show it off much because they want to show the tank in action.)
