>>8509032Yeah, Gen 2 wasn’t as bad as people say or think it is. Some of the sets are pretty fantastic! But yeah, the super toned down story is a big minus. But Lego also didn’t advertise it properly, like they did with G1, or most of their other big name themes.
However, there was some interesting background story that was going on, mainly is books and comics, and Journey to One, did havexsome interesting build-up, but then it ended up going nowhere, since they had to end the show a whole heck of a lot sooner than they originally planned to.
