But if you are that worried I suggest being armed with comebacks for any attitude you might get. I think the best route is to come at them from an unexpected angle that throws it back at them. I mean I'm unatractive anyway so the comback I thought of was, "Sorry if you don't approve. But honestly I wouldn't have dated you anyway." That's just a dumb example off the top of my head. The idea I'm going for is to give the idea that you think you are better than them anyway. But in all my years I have never been confronted about a lego purchase.
