>>6856580>>6856541Based on previous movies, it seems like a new Star Wars should be a license to print money, though. But instead they went all in on yellow jumpsuit girl and generic guys in generic off-brand Star Wars looking clothing and generic off-brand Stormtroopers.
In all honesty,
>>6856538 isn't wrong. The only characters that matter are the Jedi, so they have to go out of their way to make the supporting cast interesting and cool-looking. The coolest was, clearly, the ultra-rare blindbag chrome stormtrooper... who had, like, less than five minutes of screen time across two movies. Boba Redd from the jungle-cantina looked cool, and like every other thing in TFA seemed to imply "don't worry, we have plans for this guy... in the sequels!" and then it turns out they didn't. But pay $15 for his figure!
Clearly TRU were already heading towards death with their debts, but it seems like TWO new Star Wars movies should be a giant shot in the arm for them, to at least let them hang on until they can fix things. Instead, they're STILL clearing lame 5-POA TFA figures out just to make space as they're dying.
And for the record, the flamethrower Ripley from the Kenner Aliens line was one of my absolute favorite figures growing up. There's a long history of strong women in scifi, but a bad movie is a bad movie.
