Armata confirmed big chunky boi. Though with it lined up with the driver hatch and turret of the T-62 it looks like it's mostly the frontal armor that makes it this long. The crew compartment probably has some insane frontal protection, probably with some space armor cavities.
The engine bay is also longer, but Soviet tanks already have a short engine bay to begin with, due to gaving their V-12 engines transversely mounted. The Armata probably has its X-shape engine mounted longitudinally.
Height sitting on its hull is pretty much the same as the complete T-62, so it's tall, but probably not M-60 tall.
I have an old Challenger 2 at my parents house, which is also a big tank, maybe I'll bring it over to compare the size.
