>>7137825Transformation is quite simple and no part swapping is required, though you do have to remove the standard V-fin (which can then be swapped out for a folded-up V-fin, but the head is completely hidden in wave rider mode, so it's unnecessary).
The only difficult thing about the transformation were the circled hinges in the hip transformation joints. They were SO TIGHT! I ended up removing the legs so I could get in there and use pliers to help me move these hinges (wrapped them in a towel so the plier wouldn't damage them) because they would not budge.
The joints were still ridiculously tight when I tried to transform the Zeta back to MS mode, so I put one drop of dish soap onto each joint. I let the soap seep in for a bit then rinsed it out, and voila! Both hinges now articulate smoothly.
If you find these hinges to be very tight on your Zeta, I'd highly recommend lubricating them with some dish soap.
