I don't prep the yarn with hair straightener though, because i take the wefts straight out 'bulky yarn' balls like pic related, the fiber you can pull out these yarn balls is already pretty straight, so it skips the prepping stage. What I'd recommend, though, is to watch a bunch of miniature wig styling videos. Styling a wig is more than half of what's required to make it look presentable and this 1/12 to 1/10 scale of MD is specially tough to style, because the working area is so tiny
