McFarlane was making McStatues of super fucking God tier paint jobs back then too, but had even more paint, since he spent most of his budget on just paint. Stuff like pic made me wonder why high priced statues even existed. The only thing statues did better was cut away at the seam lines better, but it's almost negligible.
