It kind of annoys me that my mom occasionally impulse buys toys/knicknacks for herself. It's usually cheap things that will inevitably end up gathering dust and cluttering up my house (she lives with me part-time). I'm the kind of collector who only buys a few expensive toys I really want, rather than a bunch of cheap things I don't like as much, so mom's spending pattern drives me extra nuts.
This shark thing she hung up on the wall is kinda neat, but not something i would have picked to decorate my house with.
