LITD was the perfect Barbie iteration, Barbie had le diverse group of friends again with the same articulated body, nice quality clothes and actual defined personalities for her and her friends which could've had the same impact as boy franchises have with their story telling and unique characters, but noo! In general, I don't mind body diversity so much for MH, since they all have very specific themes anyway which would prevent mixing and matching. But then again, the budget that could go to the clothes goes to the body molds...
