>>8347473>If your kit has any kind of fine surface detail, sanding everything indiscriminately is the last thing you want to do.I should've been more clear because removing and softening detail and edges like that is the last thing I want to do, I usually remove the nub as much as possible before I go in with any sanding equipment, I do end up sanding every nub though because I just don't know what to do instead to get it completely flat and smooth.
I completely understand what you're saying since fucked details up like that in the past because of ignorance.
>modern lacquer based primers do not need "rough" surface to adhere.but it does help though right? just slightly going over surfaces without touching the finer details of parts.
