I wanted to share this with you guys because one of the points SGW mentions was how the seemingly contradictory notions of a) Ahura Mazda and Ahriman as primordial forces of light v. shadow and b) as personalities; actually compliment each other. There's also the question whether they are really equal, which I think is even more relevant to how Makuta appears as a more corporeal form (broken Matoran in MNOG, his armor in the 2003 set and movie) while Mata Nui keeps being the Great Spirit.
Obviously the story of creation and apocalypse in this cosmogony doesn't follow Bionicle's story identically and the whole robot deal makes them incommensurable, so reading it literally doesn't spell out the nature of Makuta, but what do you think?
