I was going to make it immovable and leave enough space at the back for wiring to go through, and hook an LED up to my chassis to have it light up. Pic related was the idea for a reveal, and basically the whole saber minus the emitter.
The problem is I have no experience with metalwork or CAD drawing or even small electronics wiring so I can't even begin to imagine how to mock up a chassis that will let me do this. I'm looking at the TCSS builds and I am absolutely floored and amazed by what people can do, and I'm sitting here with a couple tubes and a button realizing that my ideas are more of a delusion.
>>6752936Yeah, I was binge watching all of the videos the week it took for my parts to arrive. I was in no rush either, I just have free time today and a dremel so I figured I would start. Cut was going fine until I realized 80% through that I started from the wrong area. It might still be salvageable though.
