Maybe not the kind of toy car you had in mind but this one is the only one that stands out in my childhood. Christmas, late 80s or early 90s, and I had no idea what I was getting when I unwrapped this. One of the few toys I remember because we were on the poor side and gifts were mostly disappointing. I don't even think I even asked Santa for a remote control car, that was aiming too high in my mind. So this was a total surprise and absolutely cool as fuck. Those LEDs in the cockpit meant I could easily drive it at night, and the range was insane. They had to drag me back inside, idgaf about the frost out I was tearing up the block racing under parked cars and flying off curbs and shit. It was great.
