>>5975047To be fair, KanColle has been around for years and is still going strong. They aren't going anywhere any time soon. Girls und Panzer is still very popular and sells well. They even got a WonFes exclusive release that had all the Figma that had already been released in it and that sold well.
My Hero Academia on the other hand is seen as a throw-away one shot that failed to gauge enough interest to garner a second season, from what I've read. What that leads to, is a bare bones Figma release at asinine prices that fans will have to fork out to get what they want because there won't be anything else. Like the Korra Nendoroid.
Many of these releases aren't meant for foreigners anyway, hence the pandering to "moe shit". We just get it because it's a release to be sold. If you want to be pandered to for Western releases, I suggest looking into Hasbro or NECA.
