Lego is launching a new subtheme under the Marvel theme called the Epic Moment Collection, with a subline titled Epic Battles. This seems to be a response to the Diorama sets but on a smaller, more affordable scale, starting with these two sets:
>>11612284>>11612288Two more sets will be released in April. We don’t know which movies they are based on yet, only that they are Marvel-related.
Do you think this subtheme could work with other themes? I think DC could benefit from this format, especially with new Superman films and more. Heck, anime themes could also benefit from this type of static scene display, while still allowing for playability.
What films or shows would you like to see get an Epic Moment set, whether it’s Marvel or something else? Personally, I’d love to see Epic Moments sets for the Spider-Man 1 battle between Goblin and Spider-Man, as well as X-Men 1 and X2. There are so many great scenes to choose from! I’d also love to see Star Trek get Epic Moment sets, there are some amazing scenes that would work. James Bond and Superman could be great options too!
