>>7194330I started on gunpla. Did a ton of them and made this. Bought a cheap bf109 just for the decals. Then had a whole plane kit laying around. So I just said fuck it and built it. It was shit, but I learned a lot. And had fun. Then built a p40 can it came out not complete shit. And now im working on a b25.
Its really just what that person is comfortable. with. Nothing wrong with buy a cheap old kit and just grinding though it to learn the ins and outs. And you have to be ok with it probably looking like shit your first time.
I mean you do have to be at least a little bit of an autist to be into something like this. I mean i'm into history, so this is a bit more of an extension of that. Same with gunpla, I like giant robots. I dont think anyone could just be all "I like building THINGS..." and just build whatever and not care. I mean at the hobby shop the tank guys are always talking about tanks and specs, not so much the kits themselves. But an random kid off then street isint going to have the patiance and attention to detail needed for somthing like this, in fact i'd say most wont. But the people that do probably also arnt the ones to give up after one shitty looking kit. And seeing yourself improve is another huge part of this hobby imo.
Every kit has that one section that was a pain in the ass that didnt fit exactly right, or that one paint job where the paint just fucked up and melted or separated for no reason. Every kit is a story.
