On the other hand, i like that generic look where all my figures will mix togetherm, because sometimes an artist's style is way out there.
I think DCC's Icons line did a great job of capturing a generic look and an artist's style at the same time. They did that by simplifing the paint jobs that really push a sculpt over the edge in being downright perfect.
Would love it if Marvel had a toyline that actually matched shit as good as DCC. Mafex tries, but they usually fail, which isn't saying they're bad, just that it doesn't look like it came out of a comic. Only their Gwenpool looked artist perfect.
