McFarlane's is missing many paint apps, it has no shading, no washes, no drybrushing, it isn't even painted all over with red like JoyToy's, most of it is bare red plastic.
It's not entirely McFarlane's fault, this is just how the US toy market operates. He needs to meet a certain price point, and he can't be selling niche $60 action figures at Target. But I digress, this is where your JoyToy money goes, into making sure shit is finished appropriately.
