In general its better than what we've been getting, from what we've heard and seen, albeit not much. Hasbro's Tommy already looks better than Tamashii's horrific attempt. The Ranger figures,a t least at the $20 price point, will be better. We'll also probably get monsters, too. I do worry we'll get some comic book crap only a niche market wants, since Hasbro does that shit with Transformers and star wars, give us a bunch of z-list comic crap. And with their staggered approach, completing lines will take a loong time. we'll definately get MMPR within year one, but Time Force, In Space, SPD, whatever, will take 3+ years if Marvel Legends teams are any indication. And I expect them to take their time with stuff that was in Legacy, besides MMPR.
Megazords are where I'm anxious. It seems the Star wars team got the PR line, which, given their past transformers figures, doesn't bode well. If they were smart, they'd handle the Megazords like they do Transformers; western designs, with Takara Tomy engineering them. Plus takara designed sentai would be so deliciously ironic. Even better if they can use cross compatibility, as long as it doesn't hurt the engineering like Zord Builder.
The things that will suffer will be the cheaper figures, and props. People who love the 5'' scale will suffer since Hasbro does a shit job with those; just cranking out things with barely 5 PoA . And outside of ForceFX lightsabers, Hasbro's props are just embarrassing crap(and even force FX pales compared to unlicensed sabers). Bandai really shone with the prop line.
