I have 3 of the Warhammer figures (I think they are marines?), and a 4th sitting in my P.O.L. at BBTS, and then the Ogryn in the Op pre-ordered thru Amazon.
I've never played Warhammer, don't know really much about the lore, I had a room-mate in college that listened to a Warhammer themed band called Bolt-Thrower, that was like thrash metal...that's about it.
I just like the way they look; and I think the figures are fuckin' cool, especially for the price.
I was going to skip the Ogryn because of the price tag, but then I came to my senses when I realized that McFarlane will deliver the goods.
One thing I really like about McFarlane is you feel like you get a lot of bang for your buck; the figures have a lot of heft to them; good detail and articulation; reasonably good paint apps.
I always feel a little ripped off after buying some of Super 7's expensive shit - but with the McFarlane stuff I always feel like I'm getting a good value.
Same with the Super Powers stuff - you can't beat it for the price, especially when other companies are charging double or sometimes almost triple for the same thing.
