Still, I can't see it winning. It still has the greebling problem and the list on Gadunka's how-to video shows which pieces are being used. Bricklink shows that most of them exist either in black, grey OR light gray, which will make the color scheme kind of a mess.
For example, the hammer has some minifigure arm pieces that only come in orange, I don't remember if those can be hidden. A modification might help though.
By the way the MoC kinda fits the body, at least this one has a neck and not-so retarded shoulder pads.
