>>6632407>I don't really like the colors of any of the standard versions.I hear ya, man. That's why it took me so long to settle. I wish I could have mixed and matched bits of every toy. I got the Takara and Hasbro versions of Springer and ended up re-selling them because they were kind of boring, way too much gray. I had the same issue with Sandstorm. The Hasbro colors were nice, but the unpainted bumpers looked lame, and Takara's version fixed that, but it has a bit too much orange across the top of the VTOL mode (and the awful gun doesn't make it any better), but in hand, it's extremely forgivable.
>platinum version of SpringerAgreed. I love his dueling greens and gaudy gold chest. I was a little wary because in a lot of pics, his light green looks really cheap, but if you keep an eye on ebay, they turn up for pretty cheap. I ordered one for 20 bucks just a week ago. Still hasn't arrived. I feel like it's a moot point because I don't see how that version of the mold can top the sheer audacity of Sandstorm, so I'll probably resell it or store it away, but I'll definitely let you know if it's any good once it comes in.
