My heart just broke in two. I don't even know where to start. The cheap looking Hasbro doll looking clothing, the Beasts hard plastic, poorly painted face, Emmas face still looking like a joke....? The list goes on.
I'll start with Beasts head. I was hoping they would do something cool for the fur. I mean for the $35 price tag they could have given him real fake fur. Hasbro at least flocked the Beasts head, hands, and legs which not only gives him a visibly fuzzy look, but makes him feel fuzzy to the touch. Disney Stores Beast head looks like an awkwardly sculpted goat man sculpture whos in desperate need of more paint apps. Also why is he looking to the side when Emma is looking straight forward? I would understand if Belle was looking to the side as well, but shes not.
The Hasbro Beast's body is bulker starting from the shoulders down which makes him look more like the live action Beast. Hasbro created a new original body for him which is why shape wise he looks better while Disney Store is probably just reusing the same old classic male doll body with some padding. Clothes quality wise I don't see all that much of an improvement over the Hasbor outfit other than the white ascot material looking a little thicker, and what appear to be golden buttons ?
