>>11435956Nta, but speaking as someone who grew up watching pre-Elmo Sesame Street, I'm going to assume anti-Elmo anon is a member of the "Elmo ruined Sesame Street" crowd. Which, admittedly, I can agree with to a certain degree. Sesame Street never really had a "main character" (except for maybe possibly debatably Big Bird) until the Tickle-Me Elmo toys sold like crazy in the '90s and resulted in Elmo getting far more focus than anyone else on the show and even taking over half of the show with his own segment, Elmo's World. That having been said, though... Anti-Elmo anon needs to get over it and accept that, for better or worse, Elmo is the star of the show now. Elmo took over and 'ruined' Sesame Street specifically BECAUSE he became so popular and well-liked. To think otherwise is literally defying objective reality.
Besides, whether you love Elmo or hate Elmo, you've gotta admit... The whole Rocco thing is fucking hilarious.
