A pose like this is about the extent of what he can do, after modification. Not a bad figure, in terms of looks he's pretty good, but he'd look a lot better with a custom paint job or at least a top coat to cut down on the kind of cheap, bare plastic look. Maybe a dark brown wash in the hair would help too. I like his sculpt more than Samus's, though it's not as soft.
