>>9470079I will present two ingenious ways of cleaning that i use.
1 - brick built stuff, modular etc. Ask your gf for thin pantyhose that is ripped or not used anymore, cut off feet part, put it over vacuum tube, then put the brush thingy on top. Now you can safely vacuum your lego stuff without risk of small parts getting succ'd. Dust will accumulate on the pantyhose, so remove it every few minutes.
2 - technic models. Here i use those big dust brushes together with a power drill. Basically simulate a car wash, go over the model, you can safely jam it inside crevices or interiors of cars, the inner plastic is small and feathers are usually very soft.
