>>10562540Yeah I agree. Initially I had zero plans on using the human head, but the expressiveness that snail shell put in really warmed me up to it, so now I love both.
Also, I don't think the figure veered off from the artwork that much, as the "meatyness" seems to come from the shoulders being so high up, and the limited toy engineering keeps them at a more neutral point, so the figure can't push her shoulders as high and wide as the artwork/real anatomy did/can. There's also the fact that the toy sculptor is interpreting the artwork, and is translating it from 2d to 3d, so telephone game shenanigans come into play.
Not trying to do an appeal to authority, but I am an artist, I've studied anatomy, and I played with my assassin a crap-ton, so I think the sculpt is very close to the artwork, though I would have also enjoyed a "meatier" build as well.
