I'm wondering if I'll have an easier time since the second joint in my kit is slightly smaller.I think I did it with the ball joint in the ponytail side, and the straight piece in the base of the head. I reckon your smaller ball should defiantly go in easier - I heated it up with a hair dryer before and it wasn't too difficult.
In this picture from someones else's set there are two of the same joints, so one of us must have got the wrong batch.
