Hello everyone,
Today marks five months since Tad's physical passing. Though I am at home under the weather and in a bit of pain, I wanted to share with you a special story of this Bear and the lavender.
A few months ago, I was having very bad pain and I was extra saddened that I didn't have Tads presence to comfort me. I cried to him wishing for a hug. Not long after this I was driving in my car, Mouse and her electronics glitched out the front of the local Salvation army. So I pulled her over and felt she was trying to tell me something and went to the thrift store. While doing so, I came across this Bear who is actually a heat pack filled with calming lavender! Tads scent and special flower. I would always be able to smell it on him even when he wasn't near any. Purple is also his special colour, and he is my Bear. And the bear was from Tasmania! Where we always dreamed to go. Finding it made me cry and smile at the same time and helped the pain alot. It is so perfect.
I decided to go to Tasmania for Christmas to fulfil one of our many dreams, and on the road in the middle of nowhere I saw a sign saying lavender fields. Id always dreamed to visit lavender fields so I followed the road but it was closed for the day. On my way back to return the car a couple days later I didn't have much time but decided to try and get 5 minutes there. And I made it!! And it just so happened that the lavender fields are the same place where the Bear was from and filled with. So I secretly picked a couple special flowers with their permission and Brought them home for my special friend here. A gift from Home and from Love.
Hope you all have a smile and a lovely day too.
