So, thanks to the guys that gave feedback in the last thread, it helped me rethink a lot of the transformation (specifically to minimize the feel of a shell, backpack, etc)
For now, Ive removed the roof rack because I'm not sure it's going to work in the end. Regardless I wanted the roof rack to be a removable piece regardless, so I guess if I can figure out how to have it attach then great, if not I guess no huge love loss.
I looked into a few options, such as Alternators Optimus, Prime Knockout, and this guy here

That soundwave has me rethinking her design a good bit, maybe making it less accordiany, and using him as a base for her wouldn't be too hard, since you can still buy him in stores.
Knockout wouldn't be terribly difficult, as I would basically just replace his arms, and roof.
It might be better off just making one from scratch.
So, thoughts? Should I redesign it with these toys mechanics in mind?
