>>6954620It's pretty strange, as you might gather from the title, but it tells a good story. Part 1 is pretty slow, Part 2 is better (this is the part with Kars), but Part 3 is where shit really picks up and is generally the most well-known and most beloved part. If you're finding Parts 1 and 2 too hard to get into, give 3 a try and then go back and watch the others. They're relatively self-contained tales anyway.
Also, I dunno if you'll make it this far, but if you do...Part 4 is my absolute favorite. It takes all the globetrotting adventures and bizarre fights of the earlier series, and transplants them into a slice-of-life small town high school setting. It's fucking amazing.
