The tower is a design going back to the classic Siege board game (Weapons & Warriors if you're outside Canada); the original had a rubber back mechanism where a shot fired into the window caused the platform above to flip its contents over the battlements. This tower is a single molded piece, with that platform being a separate insert sliding in place.
