>>10267803Lanard is more firmly a kids toy company than a collector one. Their stuff is always bargain priced and they've tried to avoid licenses for years. They only started turning to licenses recently because Walmart doesnt want to carry their generic lines. For some reason walmart aswell as other retailers will only sell toys year round if the toys tie into media or something and thus have the legs to merit being carried. Last I heard Lanard was working on a corps video game to work their way around this but thats unrelated to turtles talk. Their aliens and predators stuff is stocky and durable and decently posable. I own a blue xeno (left side of the pic) and its a fun toy that perfectly rides the line between super poseable and kiddy fun. If they got the turtles license Id expect much the same would follow, down to the articulation scheme (14 to 16 POA). Their monster and animal toys (kong, jumanji, rampage) also hold up to alot of abuse. If anyone were to give us an affordable giant android krang it would be Lanard. I could see them nailing guys like Slash and Leatherhead too.
Jada unlike Lanard however is leaning way more into the collector market, even their diecast cars kind of reflect that. Alot of their licenses are legacy ones. So if you wanted more collector turtles they could meet you on that front. Spinmasters is the one company Im least experienced with. I only own one figure of theirs and its this wacky tactical joker variant ive taken to calling "fortnite joker" because of all the pads and pouches they stuck onto him. He's a fun little figure for the 4 bucks I paid for him. That said their other DC figures do leave something to be desired. As always its like they put all their focus into Batman and threw everyone else to the wind.
