Is something happening to the lego company that they're not telling us? Cause the prices are getting absurd for what you get in the box. Take the 4+ x wing set for example.
Its mostly made of large shaped peices with a couple of small plates for detail. Its cartooned proportioned and is over priced at $30 for how little you actually get in the set. While if you want a correct proportioned x wing, the only option is the poe x wing, and its way over sized and over detailed, and cost $100. Where's the classic x wing design lego was using through out the 00's? Why are the only lego sets available either cartooned 4 years + sets or hyper detailed $100+ sets that only hardcore sw nerds will buy? Its not just star wars either. All the themes have this massive divide between the kids sets and the massive adult sets. City and Creator feel like they're the only things not stuck in this mode, but I feel like they're creeping that way too.
