>>11634670Man, i remember wanting the Patriot Grizzly so bad but then fucking BBI+Unimax had theirs for like $10 more BUT with better paint AND not having the crew having their torso sticking out all the time.
Alos, no dumb electronics to get in the way, which is something i've always found annoying with kid toys. Really takes away from their playability.
>>11634666>On one hand it's kind of absurd to think that a smaller subline with no mass media support would be the one pumping out $60-100+ vehicles consistently, especially over the likes of IP merch juggernauts like Marvel or Star Wars? Marvel doesn't really do vehicles, but Star Wars has vehicles and playsets every year on a far more regular basis across 3 toylines.
Here's one of their playsets from last year. The current one is the Streets of Mos Eisley, which can link up with the Catina haslab.
And Hasbro has been a rip lately, considering you can still buy 1:18 diecast cars for ~$20. Mattel releases vehicles all the time for ~$30. Jazwares does too. Lots of companies produce quality stuff for much cheaper than Hasbro, but is that only because there's been such a decline in sales or just Hasbro ripping people off?
