The Blue SSJ and Ultra Instinct are soulless designs in my eyes. I wanted the God Goku because I liked BOG but they didn't make him skinny enough. So I didn't bother getting Beerus either. The DB releases I didn't bother with because they fucked up Kid Goku so much. I decided I want to focus collecting the Buu Saga. Of course the second I did this, they decided to freeze the Buu Saga out of the line.
I don't understand why so much basic stuff hasn't been made after ten years. Imperfect Cell, Kid Buu, SSJ3 Gotenks, Buuhan, SSJ Gogeta, SSj Goku (Blue Shirt), Mecha Frieza, Buu Saga Vegeta. There's that and then they go years without significant releases for sagas. Why can't it be something more sensible like 2 Buu, 2 Cell, 3 Freeza, 3 Super, 2 DB figures every year with some leeway to do stuff like the Ginyu Force. I don't like this trend of hyper focusing on one saga every year. I barely buy and don't see that changing anytime soon.
