But its mostly just what license category you put it.
For example Lego cant just sell StarWars minifigures, because others have the right to sell StarWars action figures. They have the license for building toys, so you have to buy the army builder things with a vehicle, so its building toys and dont vioate other contracts.
And after research, Playmobil teamed up with Funko to make TMNT figures, but i guess they have a license for appearall or statues to bypass Playmates license.
