It should be noted that many Chinese and clone brands are phasing out the Lego-style minifigures for their own proprietary minifigures. The only brands that still use the Lego-style minifigures are the brands that straight-up bootleg Lego sets, or they slightly alter the construction of their minifigures to get around trademark infringement claims.
Or think of the minifigures as "freebies" that come with the set. You're welcome to toss them in the trash.
