>>8182880I think Jim rarely ever had erudite Beast, his “style” was a little too extreme in the 90’s to allow for contemplative characters. The animated Beast strayed the furthest from his designs and, while I dislike Jim, I also hate Animated Beast. Too goofy... he looks like a cross between a troll doll and Gwildor from the He-Man movie. My favorite was Avengers era Beast, more simian than cat and shorter hair. I prefer fun lovin’ Beast to erudite or extreme or cat or troll doll.
