>>9987694I caved and ended up buying the NECA Shin Godzilla a few years back because I missed out on the Monsterarts and couldn't justify the aftermarket prices with all the massive QC issues it had. Ended up wishing I just hadn't bothered. The sculpt and joint placement makes it pretty much impossible to pose in anything other than a hunched over position. I've tried to replicate the films more stiff backed, upright posture and every time it just slumps back into place. The head outright refuses to stay on the neck if it's not facing straight down. The slightest jostle and it falls right off. The tail is legitimately the worst part though, thanks to that retarded and unnatural double bend. It ends up not looking good in pretty much any pose, and I've never been able to get the bendy wire tip to actually bend, feels like it's going to crack every time I apply the slightest pressure. It turned me off their stuff entirely.
