>>11264496Before this began, kids still played with toys. Now there's a narrow window where they'll play with dolls or trucks for a couple years then they move on to phones and tablets and watch youtube and tiktok for the rest of their lives.
We're the last of a dying breed and the entire industry is shrinking and focusing more on adult collectors. Repeatedly Todd has been shown nobody wants the new52 or modern designs that's why he's focusing on iconic versions reusing older parts. New Star Wars shows are so ass that Hasbro recalls entire waves of characters while making insanely expensive Cantina playsets from New Hope.
Everything new is trash, we like what we like, and that's why I just paid $100 for a classic Wonder Woman before she keeps going up. A couple months she was only a $80 figure, now she's $130 so $100 was a steal, relatively. Poison Ivy is almost at the $200 mark.
It's gross, it's evil, but that's the game we're all playing and it's never going to go back to the way it was.
