He was my first Mafex and he is really pretty nice. Some of the joints do pop out on their own but they go back together and they don't fall out, more, just sometimes when moving them. Specifically the upper arm on mine.
The smiling face is the only real con as other anon mentioned but it can be good for some lulzy photos.
