>>8955428>Any air bubbling back into the paint cup?nope. I had that the first day I had the airbrush and was testing it, fixed it by cleaning the nozzle. I think what had happened was the needle wasn't seated fully forward, as I disassembled it when I first got it just to make sure I knew what I was doing.
>>8955407>Your paint probably isn't thinned properly even though you think it is.I'm using Tamiya paints and Mr. Color Leveling Thinner at about a 1:1 ratio. I'll try increasing the ratio to something like 2:1 thinner/paint, which I've seen some people do in videos on YouTube and on some random forum posts I've found through Google.
>Your airbrush is definitely not clean even though you think it isthat's worrisome. I'll try and do a real deep clean next time before using it.
>Are you actually using the correct thinner for the paint you are using?see first answer, I had a few anons here recommend it, and saw some YouTubers using it as well. did some reading elsewhere and it seems like a very fine and adequate airbrush thinner.
I should also note that the first time I tried using the airbrush, I didn't actually have this issue. you're probably right in that I'm just not cleaning properly and thoroughly enough. thanks a lot, anon
