>Have you ever bought anything without research?
This is how I usually buy stuff. If it's something I really want, I just jump in. That said, I will do some research if something seems iffy.
>What kind of research do you do?
When I do research, it's usually just looking at in-hand pics.
>Do you watch videos and read articles?
Not really. (EDIT refer to question 6)
>Do you deliberately look up information on possible bootlegs for each individual purchase?
Sometimes I'll check MFC if a figma I want has a bootleg, but you can usually tell from the pics the seller provides, and sometimes they outright just say it's a KO.
>Did you ever fuck up because of not enough research?
Actually, the opposite. I bought some bootlegs without doing any research and they turned out better than I thought they'd be.
>Which of your toys is the most researched one?
I'm not sure if this counts, but the casting materials I use are where I focus my research. I usually watch videos of those so disregard my answer for question 3.
>Which is the least researched one?
The majority of my stuff is largely unresearched, so not sure how to answer this one. Konami Desktop Arcade Collection sets might fit the bill, I don't know about the games they represent, I just bought them for the cool factor.
Enjoy and old pic regarding a failure to do research.
